Our aviation client, a global turbine engine support company with operations in Ireland, the UK, and the US, is seeking an Aviation Stores & Logistics Technician to join their Dublin-based team.
From their European base, they provide expert support across a range of aircraft engine models including engine repairs, lease return inspections, long and short-term storage, and 24/7 AOG services across Europe.

This is a hands-on workshop support role, ideal for someone with experience in aviation stores, tooling, or logistics who enjoys working in a technical environment supporting aircraft engine maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Procurement and Logistics Lead, the successful candidate will provide hands-on support within the engine maintenance facility, assisting with the storage, movement, and control of aircraft materials, tooling, and components ensuring compliance with EASA Part-145 regulations.

  • Sourcing and procuring materials for CFM56 series, CF6-80, V2500, PW2000/4000, and RB211 engines.
  • Receiving, inspecting, and logging goods inwards in accordance with EASA standards.
  • Managing and maintaining accurate stock levels within the ERP system (Quantum).
  • Coordinating shipments of aircraft components and tooling, including Dangerous Goods consignments.
  • Supporting engine maintenance teams with the issue and return of tooling and equipment.
  • Overseeing calibration schedules and load testing of workshop tools.
  • Liaising with external repair shops for the overhaul and repair of engine parts.
  • Preparing and processing purchase and repair orders.
  • Acting as the site Health & Safety Coordinator to ensure safe working practices are maintained.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised stores area and supporting general workshop operations.
  • Assisting with the shipment and receipt of engines and related materials between Dublin and Shannon facilities.

Requirements:

  • Certificate-level qualification in a relevant discipline or at least 2 yearshands-on experience in aviation stores, logistics, or spares handling.
  • Good understanding of EASA Part-145 regulations relating to aircraft parts handling, acceptance, and storage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Full, clean drivers licence required.
  • Forklift licence and Dangerous Goods training are advantageous.
  • Previous experience purchasing or handling aircraft materials is highly desirable.

Additional Information:

  • Occasional travel may be required between Dublin and Shannon facilities.
  • Flexibility to support other departments during busy periods, including occasional weekend or out-of-hours work.
  • Ongoing professional training and development provided.
