Location: Bishopstown, Co. Cork
Position: Permanent Part-Time Baker
Hours: 16-20 hours/week
Shifts: Morning shifts, typically 6:00 AM – 2:00/3:00 PM
Start Date: In 2/3 weeks (new bakery launch)
Salary: €15/hour or more, depending on experience

About the Role:

We’re seeking a passionate and skilled part-time baker to join our brand-new, independent bakery in Bishopstown. As a key member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to craft delicious baked goods that will become local favourites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a variety of products: artisan breads, scones, pastries, and in-house specials
• Follow recipes and maintain consistency across batches
• Manage baking schedules and ensure timely production
• Operate baking equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
• Assist in inventory and stock control for bakery ingredients

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a bakery setting is essential
• Skilled in baking breads, scones, and pastries
• Reliable and able to work early morning shifts
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Team player with a positive attitude
