Job Title: Trainee Manager
Location: Bishopstown, Cork
Hours: 42 hours per week (Shifts can range any time between 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM)

Shifts: 5/7 Days
Salary: €32,000 – €33,000 DOE
Reports to: Assistant Manager and Store Manager
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Manager to join our team in Bishopstown. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone eager to build a long-term career in retail management. The successful candidate will support daily store operations while developing key leadership and business skills under the guidance of senior management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in opening and closing the store
• Pack shelves and manage store orders
• Monitor and control stock waste
• Handle cash and ensure register accuracy
• Supervise and support team members during shifts
• Attend and contribute to management meetings
• Work towards hitting key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Assist with HR-related tasks (e.g., scheduling, staff communication)
• Support the store’s social media presence and marketing efforts
• Learn and apply best practices in communication, time management, and team leadership

Who We’re Looking For

• A bubbly, eager, and ambitious individual who is passionate about a career in retail management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both morning and evening shifts as part of a rotating schedule
• A proactive and team-focused attitude
• Retail or customer-facing experience is beneficial but not essential
• A degree in business or management is a plus, but not required
