Job Title: Yard Operative (Concrete Lab)

Location: County Kildare

Pay: €14-€16 per hour (depending on experience)

Our client in County Kildare is seeking a Yard Operative to join their team in the concrete testing laboratory. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the testing and quality control of concrete and cement blocks.
• Prepare and handle materials for testing, including sample collection and processing.
• Conduct tests on concrete samples to determine quality, strength, and resistance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory and yard areas.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures strictly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely testing results.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a laboratory or quality control role preferred but not essential.
• Willingness to work long hours and flexibility with scheduling.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks.
• Basic computer skills are desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.

Pay Rate:

Starting pay is between €14 and €16 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Hours:

7:00-16:30 (flexibility required)

Training:

Intensive training is available for testing procedures and operating laboratory equipment, so don’t worry if you’re new to the role!
