Trade Counter Sales Assistant – Kilkenny Branch

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Trade Counter Sales Assistant to join our client’s Kilkenny branch. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team with a strong reputation in the heating and plumbing sector.

Location: Kilkenny Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Saturday cover required on a rotational basis (3 hours, paid at time and a half).

Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver excellent service to both trade and retail customers at the counter

· Advise customers on products, pricing and availability

· Handle transactions, returns and customer queries professionally

· Keep the trade counter and shop floor well presented and stocked

· Support warehouse and delivery operations when needed

· Contribute to achieving team sales targets and customer satisfaction

Ideal Candidate:

· Experience in a similar trade counter or plumbing environment is an advantage

· Friendly, proactive, and professional in dealing with customers

· Good IT and communication skills

· Willing to be flexible and assist with general branch operations

· Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail
