Retail Store Manager

Location: Tralee, Co. Kerry

Salary: €42k DOE

Job Overview:

FlexiStaff is thrilled to be seeking a driven Store Manager on behalf of our client, a leading Irish retail business, for their store in Tralee. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced retail professional to take charge of all aspects of store management, ensuring commercial success and delivering a top-tier customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring smooth and efficient performance.

· Drive sales and profitability, ensuring that targets and KPIs are consistently met.

· Manage, lead, and motivate the store team to deliver excellent customer service and hit performance goals.

· Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and support for development.

· Handle recruitment, training, and staff scheduling.

· Maintain a high standard of merchandising and ensure the store is visually appealing and well-stocked.

· Ensure all financial procedures are followed, including cash handling, reporting, and budget management.

· Implement and manage price changes and promotional activities to maximise sales.

· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Proven experience in a retail management role (minimum 2-3 years).

· Strong commercial awareness with a keen understanding of driving sales and profitability.

· Excellent leadership and team management skills.

· Ability to manage staff performance, including setting targets and providing feedback.

· Good organisational skills and attention to detail in all aspects of store operations.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
