- Job Title: Small Tools Maintenance Fitter
- Location: West Dublin
- Hours: Monday to Friday, with flexibility on the start and finish hours, and every second Saturday 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- Pay Rate: Up to €37,800 per annum with a van provided
- Duration: Permanent position

About the Role:
As a Fitter, reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in servicing and repairing our extensive range of hire equipment and tools. Your responsibilities will include maintaining equipment quality, safety, reliability, and availability in a cost-effective manner. You will ensure maximum workshop productivity, complete statutory inspections, and adhere to company guidelines on Health & Safety at Work.
Key Responsibilities:
Health & Safety:
- Identify and report any product defects related to health and safety and equipment reliability.
- Conduct daily and weekly internal audits to maintain equipment quality.
- Maintain a tidy, clean work environment and adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols.
- Log safety observations and report recurring issues to management.
Compliance:
- Collaborate with the Workshop Supervisor to procure spare parts cost-effectively.
- Follow internal processes for equipment testing, repairs, and service record maintenance.
- Adhere to the damage process and ensure product damage is addressed promptly.
Customer Service:
- Service and repair hire equipment and products, including electrical testing and inspections.
- Refurbish equipment as necessary to maintain quality standards.
- Promote teamwork and effective workshop performance across all locations.
About You:
We’re seeking someone who:
- Has experience in maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Possesses a positive attitude, solution-driven mindset, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Is proficient with computer systems and possesses numerical skills.
- Manual handling experience is beneficial.
