Senior Sales Advisor

Join our client’s expanding builders’ merchant store in Kilcoole, Co Wicklow as a Senior Sales Advisor. Exceptional customer service is essential in this role, offering a chance to grow within a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in-store and handle phone, email, and web orders efficiently.
• Manage quotation requests and inquiries.
• Build strong customer relationships to understand their needs.
• Identify sales opportunities and provide solutions.
• Maintain a well-merchandised store and coordinate with suppliers.
• Support purchasing, stock control, and stock taking.
• Assist with day-to-day store management and upkeep.
• Coordinate with Warehouse and Yard staff to fulfil orders.
• Follow company policies and health and safety procedures.

Skills and Experience:

• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
• Preferably with trade sales experience in building materials or a related industry.
• Strong industry and product knowledge, especially in DIY and building materials.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and POS/ERP systems.
