Relocation Surveyor

Are you an organised and customer-focused individual with a knack for logistics and sales? We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a professional and reliable moving company, seeking a dedicated Relocation Surveyor to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

Surveying:

• Conduct on-site surveys to determine the volume of goods for relocation.
• Assess special requirements for relocations, including packing materials and special equipment needs.
• Answer all customer questions during surveys.
• Check access at collection and delivery addresses as necessary.
• Price relocation jobs based on survey findings.
• Input quotations and associated requirements or instructions into the system.
• Provide the warehouse with crate manufacturing dockets when necessary.
• Engage with customers to discuss their relocation needs and answer any inquiries.

Office Duties:

• Schedule surveyor appointments and handle customer inquiries.
• Manage removal bookings and schedule material deliveries and collections.
• Follow up on quoted work with customers.
• Call bad debtors to seek payment.
• Deal with customer accounts and process payments.
• Generate new business using brochures and other marketing materials.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent organisational and scheduling abilities.
• Proficiency in pricing and quotation input.
• Effective communication skills for both on-site and office interactions.
• Ability to handle accounts and payments efficiently.
• Experience in business development and generating new leads.
