Are you an organised and customer-focused individual with a knack for logistics and sales? We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a professional and reliable moving company, seeking a dedicated Relocation Surveyor to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Surveying:
- Conduct on-site surveys to determine the volume of goods for relocation.
- Assess special requirements for relocations, including packing materials and special equipment needs.
- Answer all customer questions during surveys.
- Check access at collection and delivery addresses as necessary.
- Price relocation jobs based on survey findings.
- Input quotations and associated requirements or instructions into the system.
- Provide the warehouse with crate manufacturing dockets when necessary.
- Engage with customers to discuss their relocation needs and answer any inquiries.
Office Duties:
- Schedule surveyor appointments and handle customer inquiries.
- Manage removal bookings and schedule material deliveries and collections.
- Follow up on quoted work with customers.
- Call bad debtors to seek payment.
- Deal with customer accounts and process payments.
- Generate new business using brochures and other marketing materials.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent organisational and scheduling abilities.
- Proficiency in pricing and quotation input.
- Effective communication skills for both on-site and office interactions.
- Ability to handle accounts and payments efficiently.
- Experience in business development and generating new leads.
