Location: North West England (Split Across Two School Settings)
Salary: £52,994 – £62,192 per annum (inclusive of paid school holidays) + Excellent Benefits
About the Role
Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people? Flexistaff is hiring on behalf of our client, a leader in SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) education and care. They are seeking a dedicated Psychologist (Educational, Clinical, or Forensic) to join their exceptional multidisciplinary team.
In this role, you’ll work across two school settings, supporting children and young people with autism, developmental trauma, and neurodiversity. Your expertise will contribute to creating therapeutic environments that enable young people to thrive, ensuring positive outcomes through tailored psychological assessments, interventions, and support plans.
Your Responsibilities
As a Psychologist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting high-quality psychological assessments and developing evidence-based intervention plans.
- Providing therapeutic strategies to foster supportive living and learning environments.
- Delivering consultation, workshops, and training for education and residential teams.
- Supporting young people’s mental health, self-esteem, and resilience through targeted interventions.
- Collaborating with families, carers, and external agencies to deliver holistic care.
- Ensuring all therapeutic plans align with EHCP (Education, Health, and Care Plan) requirements.
About You
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- A postgraduate qualification in Educational, Clinical, or Forensic Psychology.
- HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Experience working with young people with autism, trauma, or neurodiversity.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- A proactive commitment to improving the outcomes and lives of young people.
