Production Operative

We are currently seeking driven and enthusiastic General/Production Operatives to join a multicultural, fast-paced team located in Newcastle, Co. Dublin.

SALARY: €12.71 per hour, increasing to €12.91 after 6 months‘ probation.

SHIFTS: Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a chance to do overtime. Overtime is paid at x1.5 for over 40 hours.

English not required

Holidays: 20 days of holidays increasing to 22 after 2 years in the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, and organize materials and components.
• Transport materials to different areas of the production facility.
• Ensure that materials are properly labelled and stored.
• Inspect products for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Measure dimensions and other specifications to ensure accuracy.
• Identify and report any issues to supervisors or quality control teams.
• Assist in packaging finished products for shipment.
• Ensure proper labelling and documentation for outgoing products.
• Organize and prepare shipments for delivery to customers.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks on machines and equipment.
• Report any maintenance needs or malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
• Work as part of a structured team, while also using your initiative to complete assigned tasks with strong attention to detail.

WHAT PROFILE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

• An energetic can-do attitude is required.
• Previous experience working within a production role is ideal but not necessary as training will be provided.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work overtime when required, to cope with demand.
• Reliability and punctuality are a must.
