Salary: €75,000 – €80,000 DOE + Bonus

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Fresh Food Area Manager to oversee the performance of 8 retail sites across the region.

Working closely with Store Managers and Fresh Food teams, you will drive sales, profitability, operational excellence, and food safety standards across all locations while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales, margins, participation, and profitability across all fresh food departments.
• Support, coach, and develop Store Managers and Fresh Food teams.
• Conduct regular store visits, audits, and training sessions to ensure best practice.
• Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety legislation, and company standards.
• Monitor waste control, stock management, and departmental performance.
• Analyse sales and margin reports and implement improvement plans.
• Manage fresh food promotions, product range development, and in-store marketing.
• Oversee Kelsius and Digitally systems across all stores.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, operational improvements, and cost savings.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Fresh Food Area Manager, Regional Manager, or Senior Fresh Food Management role.
• Strong commercial understanding of sales, margins, budgets, and profitability.
• Excellent knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
• Experience within retail, convenience, food service, deli, bakery, or fresh food environments.
• Strong IT and reporting skills.
• Experience with Kelsius and Digitally is desirable.
• Full clean driving licence essential.
