Data Entry Clerk

Role Overview:

We are recruiting a Data Entry Clerk to be based out of the office in Shannon, County Clare. Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 10.00am – 7pm

Main Responsibilities:

• Enter customs information into the management system.
• Process data for goods traveling between the UK, Ireland, and Europe.
• Liaise with the operational team to ensure accurate information is available.
• Escalate problems to the supervisor when data is missing or incorrect.
• Gather information from customers to ensure adequate details for customs declarations.
• Generate customs reports and paperwork.
• Perform general computer and office duties.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Methodical with excellent attention to detail.
• Quick and accurate data entry skills.
• Proactive communicator through email and phone.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Proactive and responsible, taking personal ownership of the role.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in Freight/Logistics is desirable.
