Location: Cork

Salary: €12.70 per hour

About the Role: We are thrilled to be recruiting on behalf of a leading retail business for a Bakery Assistant to join their team in Cork. Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in the preparation and baking of a variety of bakery products

· Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the bakery area, adhering to HACCP and food safety standards

· Help with inventory management, including stock rotation and minimising waste

· Ensure all products are displayed attractively and at the correct temperature

· Support the bakery team in meeting production targets and customer demands

· Assist with customer service as needed, providing information about bakery products

Requirements:

· Previous experience in a bakery or similar food preparation environment is preferred

· Basic knowledge of baking techniques and food safety practices

· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

· Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

· Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
