Hourly Rate: €14.50 per hour

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for full-time General Operatives to join a busy food production facility based in Lough Egish.

This is a hands-on role working on a production floor where you will be involved in sorting, processing, and packaging food products. The role suits someone who is reliable, hard-working, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Full training will be provided – no previous experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as part of the production team on various lines and stations.
• Operate machinery and equipment safely in line with company procedures.
• Inspect and measure products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Package, label, and prepare products for dispatch.
• Maintain a clean and tidy workspace at all times.
• Follow all Health & Safety and HACCP procedures.
• Report any incidents or issues to your supervisor.
• Support the training of new staff when required.
• Perform manual handling tasks where necessary.
• Work flexibly to meet daily production targets and deadlines.

Skills & Requirements

• No prior experience needed – full training will be given.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg.
• Flexible and willing to work overtime if required.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious.
• Own transport preferred but not essential.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
