Stock Control & Loss Prevention Manager

Location:Ashbourne, Co. Meath

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week (5 out of 7 days, including early, late, and weekend shifts)

Salary: €55-65k DOE

Flexistaff is recruiting on behalf of our retail client for the role of Stock Control & Loss Prevention Manager. This is a key role focused on implementing and managing stock control, loss prevention, and health & safety procedures across their retail and distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Schedule stock takes for all stores and distribution centres, compile data, and create variance/shrinkage reports.

· Audit sites to ensure compliance with inventory handling and company policies.

· Investigate shrinkage, update store stock files, and implement corrective plans.

· Develop and educate staff on stock management, security, and health & safety (H&S) policies.

· Conduct security and loss prevention inductions for new managers.

· Analyse and investigate internal/external theft, including CCTV review and reporting.

· Ensure security and H&S policies are followed through regular audits and corrective plans.

· Act as a point of contact for H&S, security, and stock management issues.

· Liaise with external alarm companies, security providers, insurance firms, and Garda.

· Investigate accidents, claims, and manage security-related systems (e.g., alarms, gates, safes).

· Deliver security and risk prevention training programmes for stores.

Skills & Experience Required:

· At least 2 years of experience in stock control and loss prevention in a retail environment.

· Proven ability to train staff in stock and loss prevention processes.

· Strong understanding of security, stock management, and basic H&S procedures.

· Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.

· Commercial awareness and the ability to work independently.

· Good IT skills and a full, clean driving licence.
