Van Driver

We are hiring a reliable and motivated Van Driver to join a file storage facility in Blanchardstown. This role involves multi-drop deliveries and collections around Dublin, with occasional trips to Cork, Waterford, and Galway. The position requires strong organisation, the ability to work independently, and physical fitness for heavy lifting.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries and collections of files and documents.
• Plan efficient routes and manage daily schedules to meet deadlines.
• Safely load and unload the van to prevent damage.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and collect necessary documentation.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and report any issues.
• Follow health and safety procedures, including safe lifting techniques.
• Keep the van clean and well-organised.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Van Driver or in a delivery role is beneficial but not essential.
• Valid B driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong organisational and route-planning skills.
• Good communication and customer service abilities.
• Physically capable of heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Comfortable working independently and making on-the-spot decisions.
