Job Summary:

Flexistaff, on behalf of our client, is looking for an experienced and driven Sales Representative to join their team in Co. Galway. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for engaging with customers, preparing quotations, managing orders, and ensuring the highest level of customer service. You will leverage your product knowledge and sales expertise to meet targets and contribute to the continued success of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Interaction: Deal directly with customers, answering product queries, preparing quotations, and managing order delivery and payments.
• Supplier Relations: Work with suppliers to place orders, ensure timely receipt, and accurately process them within the Goods Inwards system.
• Sales Target Achievement: Collaborate with colleagues and the Branch Manager to achieve sales targets and help grow the customer base.
• Exceptional Customer Service: Provide top-quality customer service and build lasting relationships with customers.
• Prospecting: Identify potential customers and expand the business through outreach and lead generation.

Skills and Requirements:

• Sales Experience: Proven experience in customer-facing sales, ideally in the Builder Provider/Merchant sector.
• Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of building and home improvement products is an advantage.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to manage tasks in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.
• Motivation: Highly motivated and target-driven, with a proven track record in sales.
• Team Player: Able to collaborate with others, while also capable of working independently.
